Summary

 

The REEF BRKR (Reef Breaker) was designed for Jamall Osterholm's AW18 menswear collection. This series of platform shoes utilize sleek futuristic aesthetics matched with simple layering to create something that is more than the sum of its parts.

Construction

​

The sole is hand cast in a urethane foam compound and built in two parts. The upper is engulfed within the sole and features a center seam and a zipper for fit. On the mid-top variant a windbreaker gator comes from the tooling and can be worn opened or closed. The high-top features a similar design however an additional layer is added made up of neoprene and closed with transparent lace locks.
